Model Y Refresh: Designed for Dogs (and Humans)?

Is Tesla barking up the wrong tree with the Model Y refresh? A larger third row designed for dogs? While I love my furry friend, I'm not sure prioritizing canine comfort over human passengers in the already cramped Model Y is the right move. Are we sacrificing passenger comfort for a gimmick to boost sales in China? Is this truly a market demand or a misguided attempt to tap into a niche?

This brings up a broader question: how much influence should pets have on car design? Features like Dog Mode are great, but redesigning a core element like the third row seems excessive. Are we heading towards a future where cars are designed more for our pets than for us? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Will this dog-friendly design really resonate with buyers, or will it be seen as a novelty? Perhaps Tesla is onto something, and this will be a huge selling point. Let the debate begin. What features would YOU prioritize in a car refresh?
