Glacier Blue Model Y: Hot or Not? Plus, Rear-End Redesign Debate!
The new Glacier Blue Model Y is generating buzz, with some loving the lighter hue and others… not so much. Personally, it reminds me of a certain popular Hyundai Kona EV color, which surprised me with its popularity. What’s your take? Is this a refreshing change or a swing and a miss for Tesla? Pictures emerging from the Shanghai factory seem to show an even lighter shade than the configurator renders. Does this shift your opinion?
Beyond the color, I have some serious reservations about the Model Y’s rear-end redesign. The vast expanse below the lightbar, especially with the low-mounted license plate, just looks… off. It feels unbalanced and disproportionate. Has anyone seen a version with a higher-mounted plate? Does that improve the aesthetics? I actually think the front-end refresh is decent, perhaps not as striking as the Model 3’s, but acceptable. However, that rear end is a dealbreaker for me. Am I alone in this? Let’s hear your thoughts. Is this a design triumph or a major misstep? Weigh in below!
