New Model Y Deliveries Sooner Than Expected? Giga Texas Ramping Up!
Seeing a lot of chatter about new Model Y deliveries potentially happening THIS MONTH. Anyone else get an updated delivery window? March seemed so far away, this is a pleasant surprise if true. Coupled with the flyover pics of all those Model Ys at Giga Texas, things seem to be moving fast.
Speaking of those flyover images, what’s the deal with the camouflaged Model Ys? Pre-production Performance variants? Something else entirely? I'm leaning towards Performance test mules, but the heavy camo makes me wonder if there's more to it. Maybe a surprise variant we haven't even heard whispers about?
And has anyone noticed the new equipment being moved into Giga Texas? Modular cooling cabinets, maybe? What upgrades or production increases could this signify? Is this hinting at even faster production ramps for the Model Y, or perhaps preparation for other models down the line? Cybertruck, anyone?
This all points to Tesla hitting the accelerator on Model Y production. How quickly do we think they can ramp to full capacity? Will this impact Model 3 production at Giga Texas at all? What are your predictions for Model Y delivery numbers this quarter? Let’s discuss!
