So last Tuesday I'm driving from Khalifa City to the airport and suddenly my engine temperature needle starts climbing fast – pulled over just as steam started coming out from under the hood. Turns out the water pump bearing had completely failed on my 2016 Altima, and the belt was shredded too. I was stuck on the side of the road for an hour before a tow truck came, and then I had to find somewhere that could fix it same day. After calling five different garages, I ended up at a place that actually had car water pump repair and replacement specialists who knew what they were doing – they had the pump swapped and the system bled in about three hours, and even showed me the old seized unit. Total cost was way less than the dealer quote and the car's been running cool ever since. Just wanted to share that not all breakdowns end in disaster if you find the right people. If anyone needs a reliable spot in Abu Dhabi for cooling system work, hit me up.
