Model Y Juniper Deep Dive More Than Just a Refresh?

Teslas new video showcasing the Model Y Juniper refresh has me thinking Is this just an incremental update or a significant shift in Teslas design philosophy? Franz von Holzhausens comment about giving the Y its own unique personality is intriguing. Does this suggest Tesla is moving away from the minimalist aesthetic? The emphasis on improved acoustics, the redesigned frunk, and the addition of a rear infotainment screen seem to point towards a focus on comfort and practicality.

Im particularly interested in the upgraded tires developed by Tesla. How much of an improvement in efficiency and range can we realistically expect? Will these tires be available for existing Model Y owners?

The 20% noise reduction is impressive. However, I wonder how much of this is due to the upgraded acoustic glass versus the improved seals and lower blower speeds. Has anyone had a chance to experience the Juniper firsthand and can comment on the difference in cabin noise?

The front lightbar giving the Y a wider look is a subtle but effective design change. I predict this design element will eventually trickle down to the Model 3. Thoughts?

Finally, the rear infotainment screen with Bluetooth headset pairing is a game-changer for families. This feature alone could sway potential buyers towards the Y. What other features would you like to see added in future updates? Lets discuss!
