2026 Model Y Performance and 7-seater coming later this year Thoughts
So the refreshed Model Y is finally getting a Performance variant and the 7-seat option is returning. This begs a few questions. How much of a performance bump are we talking Will it truly rival other performance SUVs in its class, or just be a slightly quicker Model Y Is 3.4 seconds 0-100 km/h enough to justify the Performance price premium in a world of increasingly fast EVs
The 7-seater is interesting, but realistically, how usable is that third row Has anyone had experience with the previous 7-seat Model Y Is it genuinely practical for families, or more of a novelty Will the refreshed version offer any improvements to third-row access or comfort
I predict the Performance variant will be a popular choice, even with a hefty price tag. However, I wonder if the demand for the 7-seater will be as high. It seems like a niche option, unless Tesla has made significant improvements to its functionality.
