Is the Tesla Supercharger network becoming TOO convenient? This recent experience with a third-party charger got me thinking. 23 Euros for a quick top-up. Not outrageous, but definitely pricier than Supercharging. Makes you appreciate the Tesla ecosystem, doesnt it? But is this good in the long run? Are we becoming too reliant on Superchargers, potentially hindering the growth of other charging networks? What happens when we venture outside the Tesla bubble on longer trips? Is the price difference enough to justify sometimes inconvenient detours to find a Supercharger? Perhaps this pricing disparity will push other charging networks to become more competitive. Or will Tesla’s advantage solidify their dominance in the EV charging space? What are your thoughts? Are you willing to pay a premium for the convenience of Supercharging, or are you actively seeking out alternative charging options? Lets discuss the future of EV charging. Where do you see this going in the next 5 years? Will we see a universal standard emerge, or will we continue navigating a fragmented landscape of charging providers and pricing schemes?
