Cybertruck Wipergate A Fix or a Band-Aid?

Tesla’s gargantuan Cybertruck wiper has been a topic of much discussion, even ridicule, since its reveal. Now, early owners are reporting streaking issues, especially in winter conditions. Tesla’s proposed solution double the wiper fluid with a two-cycle button hold. Is this truly addressing the root problem, or are we just masking a flawed design?

Consider this: a slower wiper speed during washing was suggested but rejected due to visibility concerns. Does this hint at a fundamental limitation of the single-blade design? Are we sacrificing functionality for aesthetics?

Perhaps the real question is this: should Tesla reconsider the single-blade approach altogether? Is a more conventional, albeit less visually striking, dual-wiper system ultimately more effective? Or is this initial fix a step in the right direction, paving the way for further software refinements that will eventually perfect the single-blade system? What are your experiences and predictions for the future of the Cybertruck wiper? Let the debate begin.
