Giga Texas churning out non-Launch Series Model Y: Price drop imminent?
Interesting development out of Giga Texas. Drone footage reveals non-Launch Series Model Ys filling the holding lot. Does this signal the imminent arrival of the more affordable RWD and Long Range trims in North America? With the Launch Series currently locked to the fully loaded, FSD-included configuration, many potential buyers have been holding out for the base models.
Could this also mean a price adjustment across the Model Y lineup? Considering the recent price fluctuations in other markets, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tesla undercut the legacy Model Y pricing. Perhaps even below the 65k CAD/45k USD mark for the RWD variant?
What are your thoughts on the potential pricing strategy? Will the non-Launch Series Model Y finally make it attainable for the average consumer, or will Tesla maintain its premium pricing model? Let the speculation begin. Share your predictions below.
